CAROLINE ROBINSON

Cornwall based abstract painter Caroline Robinson, creates gestural contemporary abstract paintings, recognisable for her beautifully textured oil paint on panels and canvas. Ethereal and whimsical line work and colour palettes create a sense of the world around her, which she calls upon as inspiration.

Caroline’s works look at the transience of light and capturing moments, which she depicts as her lyrical abstract large scale paintings. Her work has become recognised for its delicate brush marks and the surface patina in each of her faceted and layered works.

Caroline set up Milieu in 2023 to support other artists in their careers and to harness the relationships forged whilst working as a professional painter. Her work has been sold internationally and shown in exhibitions across the UK.
