CHLOE BONFIELD

Cornwall based figurative painter Chloe Bonfield, creates gestural landscapes and figurative works with beautifully textured oil paint on panels and canvas. Ethereal characters feature and links to her life and surroundings in Penryn
Working as an illustrator since 2008, Chloe began working more exclusively as a painter in 2023. she has exhibited her work nationally.

Her illustration career has seen many published children’s books with Hatchette, Oxford University Press, Quarto, Egmont, Disney and Rising Stars. Published small press titles Witches’ Front Room with Landfill Press and illustrator and designer for Guillemot Press.  

Chloe also teaches on Illustration and design programmes at various UK Universities.
