Claudia’s water study paintings are an intuitive response to moments on the coast and time spent in the water, she says “Having always lived on the south coast of Cornwall, my work is motivated by the sea and Prussia Cove has forever been my muse. I explore the coast path in search for secluded spots with crystal clear waters and seek for nooks in the coves where I can find pockets of turquoise green water to swim in, most of the inspiration for my work forms here.”
