HOLLY FIELDER - A CHURCH IN THE AEGEAN
Artist - Holly Fielder
Name - A church in the Aegean
“Taken from a hike down to Malli beach on the north of the island of Tinos. We scrambled up to this empty church as I couldn’t resist taking a photograph. The tree in front was casting a shadow against the smooth, white-washed walls and there was this waist height piece of stone jutting out of the side. Almost like a table built into the wall. Maybe that was its purpose, I’m not sure, but one day I hope to recreate this as a spot to rest a glass of wine and soak up the last rays of sun. When we reached the beach we were the only ones there apart from a sunbathing cat.”
Paper: St Cuthbert’s Mill Somerset Enhanced Velvet Paper (100% archival cotton). The paper is made in the town of Mells, just 3 miles down the road from where these have been printed.
